The purpose of this paper is to analyse the victim requirement of Article 34 of the European Convention in the case law of the first climate litigation before the ECtHR. On the one hand, we will examine what we consider to be a tightening of the conditions in the case of individuals, and on the other, we will analyse the relaxation of these requirements in the case of associations.
